The Großglockner Heiligenblut ski area is only around 10 minutes away – easily reached by the free ski bus (the stop is just a few minutes’ walk away) or by car. With 55 kilometres of slopes reaching up to just under 3,000 metres above sea level, you can enjoy varied runs, modern lift facilities and impressive views of the Großglockner. Thanks to its high altitude, the ski area offers very reliable snow conditions from December well into spring.

Winter Activities

The region also offers a wide range of activities away from the slopes, including guided ski tours, snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing and tobogganing. Those who prefer a more relaxed pace can enjoy the winter hiking trails or a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy landscape.
